Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Inside Story ("we," "us," "our") to clients ("you," "your") in relation to personalized travel itineraries to the United Kingdom. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:
1. Services Provided
We offer customized travel itinerary planning services for clients traveling to the United Kingdom. Our services include but are not limited to the arrangement of accommodations, transportation, guided tours, and other travel-related activities based on the preferences provided by the client.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1. To secure a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total itinerary cost is required at the time of confirmation.
2.2. Full payment is due 15 days prior to the departure date. Failure to make the payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking.
2.3. Payments can be made via credit card, ACH, or PayPal.
2.4. All prices quoted are in [Currency] and are subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates, availability, and other factors beyond our control.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to lucy@insidestorytravel.com.
3.2. If a cancellation is made:
* More than 30 days before the departure date: 80% of the total itinerary cost will be refunded.
* Between 15 and 30 days before the departure date: 50% of the total itinerary cost will be refunded.
* Less than 15 days before the departure date: No refund will be provided.
3.3. Refunds may take up to 2 weeks to process.
4. Changes to Itinerary
4.1. Changes requested by the client after the itinerary has been finalized may incur additional charges.
4.2. We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, supplier availability, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements of equal or similar value.
5. Travel Insurance
5.1. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, lost luggage, and other potential risks. We are not responsible for any losses incurred due to failure to obtain adequate travel insurance.
6. Liability
6.1. Our liability is limited to the provision of services as outlined in the finalized itinerary. We are not responsible for any injuries, losses, damages, or additional expenses incurred due to delays, cancellations, strikes, force majeure, or other events beyond our control.
6.2. We are not liable for any third-party services, including accommodations, transportation, or tours booked as part of your itinerary.
7. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements
7.1. It is the client's responsibility to ensure they have valid passports, visas, and meet the health requirements for travel to the United Kingdom.
7.2. We are not responsible for any costs incurred due to failure to meet these requirements.
8. Data Protection
8.1. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services. We will not share your information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill your booking.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States.
9.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of King County, Washington State.
10. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
10.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying you directly.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
